It is great to have such a wonderful example to follow. Maybe one day we'll get there.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04826309601023733396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497678546248195850.post-3131834424461486982008-04-06T18:04:00.000-07:002008-04-06T18:04:00.000-07:00Thank you for that post. Though I also have a long way to go, I am also grateful there is a perfect example that I can try to follow. I have also read the article that you linked to, and it is very good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497678546248195850.post-29342377079936619342008-04-02T09:38:00.000-07:002008-04-02T09:38:00.000-07:00Thanks. I think too often, we write or talk about an idea, and we come to some conclusion about what's right or wrong, but we don't talk about how that should shape our future behavior. Great post!le35https://www.blogger.com/profile/03897932629532339487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497678546248195850.post-34076241872957514442008-04-02T07:06:00.000-07:002008-04-02T07:06:00.000-07:00I agree, that so many think of the atonement as a ...I agree, that so many think of the atonement as a grand slate-cleaner, and don't necessarily examine how it should change their behavior going forward. Too many "Christian" churches teach of an atonement that, once accepted, means blanket forgiveness for everything, regardless of future acts. That idea of an atonement greatly disturbs me, and I had to write about it. Thanks for the comments, and thanks for adding me back in. I went to do it, and saw you already had.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04826309601023733396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497678546248195850.post-75438174776196393952008-04-02T06:33:00.001-07:002008-04-02T06:33:00.001-07:00P.S.
